The Kindness Crate: The Introductory Series, Quarterly Subscription

The Kindness Crate helps families build a practice of gratitude, kindness, and empathy by doing good for others. The Kindness Crate is a quarterly subscription box with a different theme each month for kids to do good in their community, including topics such as gratitude, child hunger, anti-bullying, homelessness, and kindness.

Each crate includes (1) A Parent Guide providing a step-by-step roadmap to connecting with your kids while doing good for others, (2) Learning Activities and a New Children’s book for your kids to understand the topic, and (3) a fun, engaging service activity that you can do right at home.

SUBSCRIPTION OPTIONS

You have the option to subscribe to this crate in two ways.

  1. Quarterly Subscription: In a quarterly subscription, you will be billed $40 now and will immediately receive your first crate. You will then be charged for $40 in each subsequent quarter prior to receiving the next crate.

  2. The FULL Introductory Series: For a $25 discount, you will pay $175 now for the entire 5 Crate Introductory series. This amount will be charged now and then you will automatically receive a new crate each quarter. The first crate will be sent out immediately. THE INTRODUCTORY SERIES

The Kindness Crate Introductory Series is a 5 crate series that starts with The Gratitude Crate. In the following quarters you will receive the The End Child Hunger Crate, The Celebrating Differences Crate, The End Homelessness Crate, and the Kindness Crate. Each subscriber receives these crates in this order.

The Gratitude Crate

The first crate in The Kindness Crate introductory series is the Gratitude Crate. This crate is the perfect way to introduce The Kindness Crate to your family. This crate includes (1) a Parent Guide with information on everything included and how to use the crate with your family, (2) A Family Kickoff discussion guide to start the process of connecting with your kids on this topic, and (3) A toolkit of gratitude tools to integrate into your family, including a Family Gratitude Box, a Kid’s Gratitude Journal, and mini-thank you notes.

Be brave and take on a 30 Day Gratitude Challenge! Or, integrate the tools into your family over time. Either way, this crate will help build a consistent practice of gratitude within your family.


The End Child Hunger Crate

The second crate in The Kindness Crate introductory series is the End Child Hunger Crate. Did you know that 1 in 6 children in THIS country do not know where their next meal is coming from, often relying heavily on school lunches as their most consistent meal?

This crate helps your children build awareness of child hunger and actually do something to help. This crate follows my step-by-step roadmap to creating activist kids and includes everything you need to follow this process, including (1) the Parent Guide with everything YOU need to know, (2) Learning Resources including activities and a book, and (3) A planning workbook and a toolset, including a banner and a t-shirt, to hold a bake sale to raise money for kids that are hungry.

For every $1 you raise, No Kid Hungry will create 10 meals for kids who need them. Whether you make the cookies or buy the cookies, this crate will inspire your children to take action on an issue that impacts every community.

The Celebrating Differences Crate

The third crate in The Kindness Crate Introductory Series is the Celebrating Differences Crate. This crate is all about building the muscle of inclusion, acceptance, and understanding of others and learning to celebrating differences as a person’s strengths.

This crate will inspires your children to not learn about and accept others, it encourages them to accept themselves as well. This crate follows my step-by-step Roadmap to Creating Activist Kids and includes everything you need to follow it, including (1) the Parent Guide with everything YOU need to know, (2) Learning Resources including activities and a book, and (3) A Pen Pal activity that directly connects your child to someone across the globe who has a completely different life experience.

Your child will not only build an acceptance of others, but also a new friend and pen pal.

The End Homelessness Crate

The fourth crate in The Kindness Crate Introductory Series is the End Homelessness Crate. There are 550,000 homeless people in THIS country on any given night and over 1.3 million kids in our school system will experience homelessness in a given year. Homelessness exists everywhere.

This crate will inspire your children to learn about homelessness and break common misconceptions about the homelessness. This crate will also increase their awareness of the causes of homelessness. As with all the others, This crate follows my step-by-step Roadmap to Creating Activist Kids and includes everything you need to follow it. This includes (1) the Parent Guide with everything YOU need to know, (2) Learning Resources including activities and a book, and (3) all the materials for a fun arts and crafts project to help homeless people.

For every dollar raised, Family Promise is able to turn that into $3 to help homeless families. Your kids will not only better understand homelessness, but will be inspired to help those in need in your community.

The Kindness Crate

The fifth and final Kindness Crate in our Introductry Series is a crate focused on kindness. This crate is full of fun goodies that explores the different messages of kindness and spreading those throughout your community.

This crate will inspire you and your children to explore the different ways to spread kindness, build an understanding of the ripple of kindness, and what self-kindness looks like. This crate includes (1) A Parent Guide with everything YOU need to know, (2) An incredible book that helps your children build empathy, and (3) Several kindness-spreading tools to inspire acts of kindness in your community.
